Different shots we used during the start of the film

 Hello, welcome back to another blog post, today we will be talking about the different shots we have used through our film so far. We are only about 45 seconds through our film, and we have used 4 different camera shot and angles. There are many more shots and angles to come. We are aiming to have about 6 different shots and angles in our film. Having different angle and shot is good because they enhancing storytelling, creating visual interest, and guiding the audience's emotional and phycological responses.


The first shot we used was an establishing shot. We used this shot to show the location of our film, which is Chapel Trial Soccer Park, and the purpose of it is to set the scene, and give details about what the film is going to be about.

The second shot we used was a two shot.  A two shot is a shot that feature two characters, the purpose for them is to allow the audience to read the character body language  and see the interactions. We used this shot to show the defender running up to Gabo to come and tackle him to the floor.

  

The next shot we used was a mid shot. A mid shot is a shot that frames a character from the waist up. The purpose of it is draw attention to the character and their action. In this photo you can see the defender is very angry about the call the referee gave.

In the next shot we used an over-the-shoulder shot. An over-the-shoulder shot is used during a conversation, it allows the audience to become part of the conversation, also allows the them to read the characters actions. In the photo Gabo gets fouled and falls to the floor in pain and the referee comes running over to see if he is ok.
